Blackbird - Food is always a plus anytime. I'm down. Did you graduate from South or North?

Killercam - We could do two layers of 5%. That figures out to be 5% of 5%, which is 0.000125%, hahah.

meissen - The boss of the shop, Dave, was selling a white V6 Camaro T-top car. A dude bought it and a day later came back with a horrible knock. Spun every bearing. We think he brought it out and beat the hell out of it because it's a Camaro. Eh.
Dave doesn't do any tint, it was Frank Jr. and I. Frank Jr. taught me the basics and I just practiced again and again.

Wezeles - What's going on Dave? Yeah, the hatch took forever to figure out the first time, but I've never 2/3 pieced one yet!

SS4Matt - Where do you work at mang?

Yep, white people steal sound too.

well i work at Detail Express www.detailexpress1.com is the site. i think it's kinda "scarce" but that's it...we're in Keego Harbor. it's the next little shit hole town next to West Bloomfield where i live. but yea i've never seen 3 piece back windows laid...but i've seen some botch jobs come in from other places that people want their crap stripped and re-tinted...have you ever used "pro-bond" for the dot-matrix in the windows to get it to stick better?

I've seen that "Pro-Bond" for sale before, I think I ordered some in my tint supplies order.

I usually get the dot matrix down a bit with a maroon scuffpad then I squeegee it down until I get a solid stick.

That's a good thing dude. There wasn't ages on the RegalGS board I was a part of and I went to a meet. Now mind you, these guys have 11 second cars and whatnot, so I thought they'd be around my age. Nope. The stereotype is true. I felt like I was in AARP by the end.

hahahahaha AARP that's funny as hell...my grandma drives a Buick too!! hahahaha

yeah. we usually use that or the grey scuffy pad things...or sometimes 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper (very carefully) sometimes that probond works, on my sisters GrandPrix...the stuff cured and heated up and actually made a weird bubbly lookin ****up in her back window...but whatever it's in the lines so it's not noticable.

but yea every car is different, sometimes the tint lay's down perfect over the dot-matrix...and sometimes is looks like a white mess....it's definatly hit or miss...i've found if i go back after a day or so, i can push most of it out though!
