Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

At the time I had an A4 with no plans for getting a TC. I also wanted driveability. I am really happy I didn't go bigger. I think it's still a good driver and not so much a strip or weekend only car which was my goal. I still wanted to cruise with the top down with the kids and not have them smell like gasoline when we were done. The wife hates that.
Hopefully, I can catch some of the meets this Summer and talk cars.
Jeff
understandable! I like the smell of unburnt gas fumes a little more than the average person so I dont mind a little overlap
are you still running a 3.23/2.73 gear behind the T56? Ive read the 503 drives almost as friendly as stock, especially with a shorter gear behind it.

The car was originally an A4/2.73 car with the 110 speedo and the non z-rated tires. The first thing I did back in the 90's was add a Borla catback, 3.42 gears with a Torsen Diff., and remove the speed limiter. The car stayed like this for about 8 years before I did anything else.
I am still running the 3.42's so I never have known what the t56 feels like behind anything else. I am going to 3.73 shortly though. Mainly because I need to add the correct ABS reluctor ring to the 3 series diff so my ABS works again. I figure while I am in there....

cool, yea the 3.42 is a good gear for the 6 speed. Just out of curiosity did you notice a difference switching to the torsen posi?
