Ben, Ben, Ben...check my garage...Originally posted by phoenix_rising View PostWow nice lineup Eric. I think you may be one of the only 3rd gen TTA owners on the site. Unless Jeff (89Daytonapacecar) is one. Anyhow, welcome to the site and feel free to post and peruse as you like. Hopefully we will catch you at some shows this year. We usually operate out of the mitten but I know there are a lot of Bay City guys here and a few further north.Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! It annoys me more then anything.

I know I don't have any in Ishpeming but I think there may be a few from the 80's at my parents house. I'll have to try digging some up in a few weeks when I'm down there. I'm certain I remember seing a picture from 1982 with a brand new red trans am in the driveway. Had the black solid hubcaps with the dimples - just like kitt on knight rider.Originally posted by TSTONE View Postgreat story - welcome
any pics from the old days?
I have never seen picture from my dads 2 gen demos though. I know there was a 79 with a 400 4spd and an 80 with a 301. O-yeah, my dad had a used mid 70's TA for a while. Black with sidepipes behind a 455. That car wouldn't start when it got hot. Stopped to get gas had to wait for 1/2 hour to let the car cool down enough to restart. Once he got back to the store he sold it to the very first person he saw. That guy probably got a really good deal. Sure looked cool, I don't know why he didn't take a picture of it. I was probably 4 or 5 years old
I know I've got pictures of my dads '88 TA because that was our family traveling car from 92 to 96 or so. As a teenager (and 14 not old enough to drive) I rode in the back seat all the way to Vegas and back through the national parks. Legroom was definately cramped but made good time across those deserts though.1989 TTA 23,000 miles, ran 12.42@107 with stock long block, turbo & intercooler.
Just installed Precision Dbb 6262rs, 4.1L stroker, Ported heads, dutt neck IC, and other stuff
1995 Z28, hardtop M6, edelbrock tb, sfc's, K&N intake, B&M shifter, spec 3 clutch, 4.10 gears, and other stuff
