  • 87 bird w/ 307?

I was wondering if the interior from a 87 bird is the same as a 92 bird? Specifically if the top dash is the same? I found a 87 bird w/ a 307 swapped in for $400 so it would make a good parts car if the interior parts will swap over...

Some stuff is the same, some is different.

The dashes should be the same.

Is it a 307 Olds motor or a really old 307 chevy?

I'm guessing Chevy...the Olds has different motor mounts...that would be a pain...

Well that's what I was thinking too but I've seen people do stuff like that because that's what they have.

After some brief investigation, looks like the dash shells were the same 82-92...gauges look like they differed more.

I just need the very top "platform" i'll call it...looks like it will fit then...

I dont know what kind of 307 it is...I'll give the guy a call tonight (I'm assuming it's a olds because there a dime a dozen and shit, I've never even seen a chevy 307)

400 not a bad price then?

Shouldn't be if there's some stuff you can use off it.

The dash place I found wanted $260 for the dash alone...no gauges. Might want to double check to be sure on compatibility.

And check out the other 307 thread...

The interior looks different in parts...but the dash pad looks similar...

so...do you think I could at least part it out for 400?
