The thing about TPI's though, is they're just so damn sexy. Coolest looking intake made for SBC evar.

Man, that's an old, old ass pic.

Guess its all about what you wanna do with it. Mine went 13.55 @101 with a full exhaust, chip, and the whole intake ported by myself, on bf drags. I am sure with fuel and a decent blower it would be a solid low 12 before it turns into a fireworks show.

The 6speed is nice on the highway, but not necessary for speed really. My Iroc has run this way for 10years, has about 600 track passes, and has driven to and from every time with ac and cruise. God bless muscle ...even if it starts with only 220 hp.

What mods so far? Auto or man? those are respectable times so far, add some more smart mods and ditch the passenger and stereo for a race and wammo, 13s easy.

I can attest to the performance + everyday driving. At M12 we were all waiting in line to get in and everyones LS1/2s were just sitting there at idle as happy as could be. My car was rocking, surging, spitting and generally not having a good time.

IF... you have money dropping out of your bootox, may I suggest this TPI system. Have read several nice write ups so far.
