Well I can't make up my mind on what I want to do. I wanted to restore my bird and put a 350 in it with some minor mods for now, but due to some family problems. The place I was gonna work on it at is probaly not gonna be available, plus no tools really. So then I was thinking how I really want t-tops and such as well. So what do you guys think I should do?

If you really want a 3rd gen, 350, and T-Tops, just go for it. It's your desicion as to how to come up with that end product, but you seem to know exactly what you want.Nick H.

I think it'd be easiest to save for a little bit, sell your bird and get the exact car you want.... it will come up oneday, just have to wait for it!sigpic

Looks unanamous..sell it and get a V8 T top car! FI motor swaps are expensive and take a lot of time/effort to sort out all the wiring stuff. Even when you think you're doing it cheap it adds up quick. You'd spend less to sell your car and buy a V8 T top one, even if it does need some fixing up.

get rid of the 2.8 no matter what. I would sell it and buy the car you want. restoring a car is a LOT of work.-Joel

Well once I get caught up on bills I'm gonna start saving up and once I get some money I'll start looking and put mine up for sale. For now I'll keep it so I still have a f-body, plus I need a car to drive.

Nothing Like an Fbody w/ ttops. And I hear a conversion on a 3rd gen involves cutting the roof off and welding a new one on.
But, there is a world of difference between a 2.8 and 350.
