Don't think it would cause your symptoms, just tossing ideas out there. Worn distributor shaft bushings causing the distributor to wobble, loose knock sensor, incorrectly connected wires e.g 18436572, poor crimps inside the boots on the plug wires, TPS dropping out, MAP not reading correct .. Plugged exhaust, bad engine ground. My junction block that's by the battery that connects the alternator to the batter cable melted once causing an intermittent low voltage to the ECM making all sorts of weird symptoms. Also once had the knock sensor and fan switch connectors reversed causing issues after the fan got its turn on signal.

Just throwing out ideas, maybe it'll spark some ideas that might lead to a solution

Didn't get a chance to look at it last night, it was my wife grandfather's birthday so we went out to dinner and from there my wife's Magnum decided to die and leave us stranded. A new battery from AAA later it was too late to do anything with my car so....

Here's somthing interesting I noticed this morning though. The problem has shifted... it's more of a LOW RPM stumble now. The high RPM issue seems to have subsided but now, if I'm crusing (bearly touching the pedal, just enough to not loose speed) that's when it happens. Again, only when she's warm. Doesn't seem to matter what speed, but it's now affecting the low RPM range.... God I'm confussed.

Got a chance to look at the car tonight. Found 2 issues. My #5 spark plug wire was sitting on the exhaust manifold and burnt to a crisp. And my o2 sensor was broken at the wire. So now im out to replace those. Weather its going to fix my issue i wont know until its fixed but clearly these aren't small problems so im hopful.

Well that could certainly do it...

Explains why the symptoms got better when you changed the spark plugs too. The plug wire would have been moved slightly and not running/arching to the manifold.

Could also explain why it only seemed to happen when the car was up to temp to. The cold mainifolds wouldn't affect them as much as when they were hot... course that could have to do with the O2 sensor too....

Only down side is that I'm so tapped for cash now after the injectors etc. that I'm going to have to settle for the shitty Autozone/O'Reily house special wires. Not happy about that.

Can you just buy the one for now?

I don't thing Summit Racing sells just the one wire... not that the Summit wires were all that high end to begin with LOL.

I'm sure the Duralast wires will be fine. Car is mechanically stock anyway.

I've run Duralast wires on many vehicles, they work fine. I might even have some spares you could have if you want just one. Are you actually in California like your profile says? Cause if you're close, I'd totally drop a few plug wires off if I can find some. I think I still have a set that came off of my old TBI truck, which would use prettymuch the same wires.

The plug wires were the key. She feels back to normal again. I feel dumb that i didnt catch that sooner but no matter. We're all good now. Bummer is that the wife wont be happy with new parts for a while. Guess the sub frame connectors and stb will have to wait awhile now.
