Oh and how do you do it. well the main thing is a cam it has to have that. But when i said 4th gen i meant LT1 never ran one against an LS1. But yes it isn't hard. the L98 TPI has more lower end tourqe then the lt1

Thats all the L98 is... low to mid range torque. That's what TPI does to a motor. Real fun on the street! ya but you get a decent cam which there are plenty of huge high tq cams out there and work on the crappy smog heads a bit and it isnt hard... it doesnt cost much to beef up a small block... lot cheeper then a lt or ls motor thats for sure... 500 bucks is cam intake and head work on a sbc... you make enough tq and hp doesnt matter.. aslong as you got the gears to get you there...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. dont worry about it we will see whos talking when we set up our 3rd vs 4th drag next summer... how many 4th gens on here are stock? and how many 3rd gens are... the 4th gen frat boys will be eating there words soon enough.. they may think they are pretty but we know its a fat chick in a nice outfit..lol how do you add 300lbs with plastic instead of steal and a lower roof line? only engineers at gm could figure that out...lol
for the michigan mullet association
