92 25th anniversary camaro

well my buddy who I have know and he is a dodge guy went with me to Brandons to get all my parts and he saw the COOLEST color green camaro I have ever seen, he was all over it, well needless to say on our way back to Niles he had me call Brandon and bought it.. heres some pics I got of it from my phone

Can anyone one tell me what the color is called? also I have NEVER seen a 25th in this color, why? are they rare or something? its a t top 5 speed car to boot

I'm not as up-to-date on my Camaro colors, but if that were a Pontiac I say it's Dark Bright Teal.

As far as rare or special? Well, I'm not the guy to answer without a bias opinion. I've always taken issue with the way Chevrolet thru a damn anniversary badge on every Camaro to roll out the factory during those celebration years.

Is it an "anniversary" car? Sure. Then again in 1992 every Camaro was an "anniversary" car.

Is it an Anniversary Edition or Heritage Edition I think is the true name Chevy used? No. Look at photos of Darren's car that's an Anniversary Edition '92.


EDIT: I think I'm wrong on that color, DBT seems to be a touch lighter than that appears. Maybe @WMCC Gary will step in here and confirm that for you.

Scotts post is pretty much spot on and that looks like Dark Green - Grey Metallic to mee too.

The (Z03) Heritage package was available in the following colors
Arctic White with Red Vinyl Stripes
Bright Red with Black Vinyl Stripes
Black with Red Vinyl Stripes
And added mid year you could Also get....
Purple Haze with Silver Vinyl Stripes
Polo Green with Gold Vinyl Stripes
These two color were not nearly as popular as the first 3 on the heritage edition cars so you don't see them too often.

You could get any of the above color without the heritage package as well.
The other colors available in 1992 were...
Dark Green - Grey Metallic
Dark Teal Metallic
Dark Red Metallic
Medium Quasar Blue

1992 was the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the Camaro in 1967. To celebrate this, Chevrolet offered the RPO Z03 "Heritage Edition" Package. It was nothing more than an exterior appearance package which was available both the RS or the Z28 and in either Coupe or Convertible body-styles. This package included hood and rear deck stripes (similar to the ones found on the 1st generation Camaro), body colored grille, black headlamp pockets, a 25th Anniversary badge on rear spoiler ["25th Anniversary"] (RS) or hatchback rear edge (Z28), and a 25th Anniversary badge on passenger side dash "Z28 25th Anniversary" for Z28, or "RS 25th Anniversary" for RS. Initially the Z03 Heritage package was only available as a white car with red stripes; black car with red stripes; or red car with black stripes. However, mid-year additional color combinations were introduced: Polo green car with gold stripes (this combination also got gold badges and gold accent wheels); and purple haze car with silver stripes. There were 8,197 made.

his trailer and its been to PA and back like that, never an issue, DOT doesnt normally stop stuff like that if its all lit up and what not.. they have too much to do with semis than to take time with that,lol

Ive have gotten a warning for not having both trailer axles having brakes, I was explained that there is new rules and laws that came into effect. I also thought fenders were a must.

Still a nice looking camaro, do you know his long term goals ?

ok will do, he just came into some money as well so it could be rather quick.. also I was told you had to use a special came for a throttle body, is that true?
