You can remove the cold start setup and use a memcal chip from an 89, the only year to be w/o a cold start injector (1990 was the start year for the speed density setup and 7730 ecm)

I think I have one or two cold start injectors around if you find it to be clogged.

If you want to remove it all or just unplug it, I can get you a G1 adapter and program a chip for $50.

The injector is located on the driver side of the intake, between the two sets of runners. It is fed by the rear of the rail.

ok tested it and it gave me .037 ohms not sure if thats good or bad, but I know the cold start plug the end of it is broken off in the plug socket...

That's a good reading, switch should be fine.

So the injector plug is broken? Are the wires still making contact with the injector pins?

The adapter you will need - Moates G1 Adapter
                  http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adap....html?cPath=64

You can go with the GP1 with the ZIF socket for easier chip changes (which I use) but it will not fit under the cover of the ECM.

You will need to remove your old chip, pull the blue cover off, attach it to the adapter, then install it as one unit. Moates has a how-to here:

well its been awhile, life got in the way as usual.. but I drove the TA to work the other day, I found out that my problem was nothing in the computer or anything like it..

I had a busted fuse tab on the ignition fuse.. I feel so damn stupid.. but never thought to even look there...
Hoogies hooked me up with some stuff so I will be using it shortly to see if it helps getting it started, still starts hard but I think its the MAF sensor bs myself but will know shortly
