Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Oooh! You found a set of the aero effects! Good for you! I'm going to start looking again myself for a spare set since they are getting harder to find nowdays. How did you attach them to the lower rocker panel? Did you weld on the required steel mounting flange?
1984 Pontiac Trans Am. Well, most of it anyway. Some of it is 1969 Chevy. Some of it is 1982 4-cylinder Firebird, 1987 Trans Am, and 1991 Formula 1LE. Some of it is 1994 Trans Am, and some of it is 1999 SLP Firehawk. The rest is aftermarket.
no i couldnt find the mounting flange called up year one even the gm. dealership ended up having to fab up my own angles in it not to hard just a regular elbow bracket shaved down to fit... the brackets for the fenders were inmpossibal to find too... so i just rivited the whole side kit in primered it for now then just have to file down the rivits a bit and make it all smooth. getting harder to find stock parts for this damn thing...lol i should have just taken off the brackets from the donor car but they had quite a bit of rust and didnt want to put them on just to have them rust out on me or not do the job properly.... i still have to finnish the rocker trim, its only bolted up on the sides going to use some heavy duty metal screws for the bottom...

got the last of my parts comming in now... i got a steal on a top end kit studs rev kit solid roller lifters instead of the cheep hydralics that came with my cam kit and another solid cam gear set... so if anyone wants a solid gear set i really dont need 2... i know for sure it will work on the pre 87 blocks not sure about anything newer should still work on the factory roller 87 and up blocks... come on guys its atleast an extra 5hp over double chain... and no worry about breaking... comes with the sweet wining noise

Ok, I can't see any pics for some reason. Is it a hard top car? If so I wouldn't try to convert to a t-top, I don't think it will have the same roof supports.
edit: nevermind, just realized this was revived. So you got a gear drive available?
