Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Fuel, Air, spark, compression, and ignition timing. More history of the car is needed. Was it running before the plugs and wires? Could a couple wires have gotten crossed when putting new wires back on, etc? Check the firing order and then double check it.

An update, car has developed a case of no spark, receiving 12v to coil, with key on, no spark from coil. I'm testing from the red wire going into the coil, is the appropriate place to test?
Dead coil?
And the car hasent ran since 2009. I'm trying to put it back on the road.
fuel at the schrader valve doesnt mean its coming out the injector. check injector for pulse with a noid light.
there should be power on both wires of the injectors. if not check the injector fuses.
alot of times the icm in the dist is bad

You've tested the power wire going to the distributor and you have 12 volts there but no spark getting to the plugs right? Obviously your problem is between the power wire and plug wires so yea a coil is as good a place as any to start. If that does not fix it then ignition control module would be my next step. Or junkyard source a distributor.

Good luck man. I hope you figure it out. I don't have much experience with the remote coil set ups late 80's early 90's GM. However on the older HEI set ups when there is a problem it is usually one of two things, ICM or coil. So again good luck buddy.
