Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

So the deck lid on my car came out of alignment out of nowhere and I've tried everything to try and get it realigned and nothing has worked so far. The left side is fine, but the right side of the deck lid is too high and the rubber stopper is almost all the way down and it's still about an 1" away from hitting. It's starting to drive me crazy please help! IMG_5001.JPGIMG_4997.JPGIMG_4995.JPG
Is it ok at the roof line?
if it is use the striker to pull the hatch closed under flush on the left. Then use the left bumper to push it back flush. This should close the right gap.
If the whole right side is off the hinge probably needs adjusted
I just checked and it's good at the roof line and i tried using the striker and it didn't make a difference and we tried to adjust the hinge and it's all lined up. I forgot to mention that it has a pull down motor if that makes a difference and I've tried adjusting just the motor and it didn't help with the gap at all.
the latch has up and down play in it so it is adjustable. ive seen my old one actually wear out and scretch everything so that when the latch was at the bottom of its adjustment is was still too high up. if you want to try a different latch mechanism if nothing works you can have mine for free just come and get it
I know it's not one of the shocks and the hinges look fine. We rebuilt the latch mechanism not to long ago and we've tried adjusting it and I didn't see any improvement after doing so, but thanks for all the offers for all parts.
