hmm what i don't get is your trying to make your trans am different from other ones, but trying to make it the same as all the peice of shit ricers at your school. Different?? I think not. you know if u comtinute to try and make that thing look liek a civic or another ricer your just going to ge made fun of. liek we are all sayingits a muscle car. not a import. make it like it should be. seriously loose the bench and get a different spoiler and then do some motor work.

Riced out Camaros look like ass...PERIOD. I've yet to see ANY tastefully done "tuner" style Camaro/Firebirds. The gaudy addons do NOTHING for the looks and even less for performance. I don't understand why 3' tall body kits and 10' tall wings make a car "cool" today. Give me some cleaned up stock body lines and a killer stance with some sweet wheels and killer paint(not ricey) and that's what I'm all about.

touchy, like if you touch it in the wrong spot, the piece of shit falls apart. If your gonna rice your car out don't do it with exterior shit, atleast give the thing some power and stick some NOS in there and put big homo NOS stickers on it. And just wondering, how old is your dad? I've never met anyone 30+ years of age that likes ricers.

he probably ment touchy as in suspesnsion wise... but the only way a civic is gonna handle like a f body atleast a newer one is with a few grand in parts... even your 3rd gen has a better suspension than a civic unless they decide to dump 3 grand or more into it... most nice tuners not "ricers" are pretty plain there is a civic in town here gloss black fully tinted out with just some chrome rims with the center painted black no crazy spoiler, no decals or stickers just stock looking besides tint and rims and hes pushing 11 seconds with it and still isnt done... real "ricers" dont even toss all that crap on there cars they know its pointless i havent seen many 10 second tuners with park benches body kits and decals all over them... just the guys that wish they were 10 seconds... and wish even more they could hit 14... there is a reason why there are hundreds of after market companies for f bodys but only one or 2 that do a rice style for them... it doesn't sell tell your dad if your gonna toss your money into it it might as well be somethign worth it... get a 350 or bigger, get a nice cam and heads maybe some nitrous and just put all the ricers at your school to shame without any of the tacky expensive crap added on...

my dad is 41 and ok heres the plan we just got done makin it....1988 trans am will be a tuner looking car and when we see a generation 2 trans am that will be out radical car with more horse power than needed for anything we need...NOS is a part of the 1988 T/A found some for $400

bout an hour ago we pitted up againt a 2000 Camaro and we stomped the shit out of it...its my friends dad's car...its red and its not bad lookin but we beat it on the road by 2 car lengths.....it was sad for him......
