do you think i had my parents pay my way. hell no i've worked for every cent i have put into my car. and my car wasn;t that nice when i first got it besides the no rust it looked like crap. ive done all the work to it between me and my dad and he didn;t pay a damn dime. all my money. its possible but just don't go out and start making accusations about how yer car can beat such and such b/c seriously coming from someone with a car that was just as slow as yours its not that fast.

Whoa, I'm 19 years old. My parents didn't give me my car, or help me make payments on my car. I work hard, and that has allowed me to spend $14,000 on a nice car. So before you go steriotyping-that all of us are rich kids, that our parents just give us everything; you better think again.

i built a custom truck on $90 a week , the budget for my camaro is much larger cause i'm workign fulltime but dont think a nice car cant be done on a budget

I spent 6 years in the miliatry and am going back to college now, which is the only reason I'm not running a 408 at the moment. Don't assume things, it usually gets you in trouble. Like I stated earlier I will be in Kzoo on Saturday, wanna meet up? Hey Kammi10 when are we gonna run? My car is finally getting tunned this weekend so hopefully it'll be wheels up by the M11 event.

word...financed my SS for $14,000....that was 2 years ago...i still owe around $5 or $6,000 i forget...i just send 'em the money every month...and in the last 2 years, i added up my bills not too long ago and have some $9,000 in crap that i've spent on my car.....i go to school full time, and i work full time 40+ hour work weeks.....you get a then a and end it with for your nonsense comments....oh...i'm 19 too

Alright, I'm warning EVERYONE from here on out. WATCH WHAT YOU POST. Unfortunately, I thought having people be moderators I could leave it alone and not have to pay such close attention to this thread. If I would've seen the posts in here awhile ago, I would've stepped in. Sorry I hadn't.

That said, QUIT with the bashing of his car, QUIT with the personal attacks, QUIT with the attitudes. He's 13, let's teach him the right way with CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I'm not naming names, but I saw a post where someone said "Your car is homo" and I'm telling you now, watch it. No offense to his dad, but Rob (Jr), atleast take into consideration what people are saying in here [the constructive information/criticism], age differences and areas of growing up greatly have a difference on what people think is cool, but you'll get a better idea by listening to what people say in here. For instance, my brother (late 30's) was asking me what kind of rims I was going to get on my car when I told him I was buying rims. His first comment, "Getting big chrome 22's?"

A lot of people on here (Especially certain WMCC members [no offense and nothing against WMCC at all, just easier group to pick out of the entire crowd on here]) find certain modifications to be "bastardizing" the vehicle, changing the engines, modifying the body, etc. I'm being honest to myself when I admit, if I had a free 5.9L dodge van engine at my will, I wouldn't mind throwing it in my car either! I mean come on, having a FREE v8 at your disposal, anyone in their right mind would atleast contemplate putting it in!

Last, but certainly not least, honestly Rob, I'm not going to put some personal attack or any of that immature stuff in here just because you're trying to do what you want to your own car. Trust us though, the type of mods that you do carries a fine line between looking good or not. A lot of people don't like what I've done to my car, but at the same time I wouldn't say I've "riced" it out, so it's hard to say. Do what you like to your car, but atleast take into consideration what everyone says. It's easy to see the tuners and think it's cool, but remember you have a Trans Am, not a tuner car.

With all that said, I'll leave this thread open, but WATCH WHAT YOU SAY as I've been made aware of this thread and will be watching it closely. If it goes off topic to attacking the car or his decisions without being constructive, I'll close it or remove certain people from the thread.

Wow...just wow. Do you know what a dyno is? You should really read up on automobiles and what can be done where. Sears has NOTHING! I wouldn't take my lawnmower to them, let alone a car. Dynos, especially chassis dynos are hard to find as they are expensive. It's even harder to find someone that can dyno tune a car and knows what they're doing. I would love to have that car and a $4K budget. I could do a LOT to it both looks and performance with some effort to shop for good deals.

Agreed, I skimmed through what I could in the 5 minutes I had before I posted my comments. Going back and skimming further, seeing people's comments, I'm ABSOLUTELY appauled at what people have said here.

Lastly, I appologize that I wasn't on top of things and see this thread before it got out of hand in the first place. Some of you guys (you know who you are and what you said) honestly should be ashamed of yourselves. I saw one post where someone flat out said he was a douschebag, that's rediculous. I saw another where someone said the car looks homo, AGAIN rediculous. What are you guys? Freaking 3rd graders? The immaturity in this thread is absolutely disgusting. He came here and is excited about modifying his vehicle to his tastes, and is discussing his ideas in here and you guys are ripping him apart. I'm quite honestly embarassed at the attitude you guys have taken in this thread.
