    • After doing alot of looking on the internet to find a way to hook the heater core valve back into the loop so hot water doesn't constantly run through the dash. I found this is what the corvette guys use to replace there stock units after they crap out. I by no means wanted to put the stock setup back on top of the motor.

More pics to come to show how I ran everything.

      • That's a nice piece! I ended up using the stock one again and I hate it. It's leads to too much clutter on the plumbing. I may look into this as an alternative now..Thanks for the tip!

        • I'm interested in seeing how you route this as well. I took the diverter valve out last summer and just let the coolant circulate. Did your IROC come with the factory oil cooler lines too?

          • Yes it did and I was able to make it work with the long tubes with some modifications.

            • Here are the pics I promised, sorry it took so long I was out of town. I just used the black zip ties to hold things in place temporary.

I like it way better then the stock setup.

                • Looks good. I was thinking something along those lines only using hard lines.

                  • Welded in O2 sensor bungs and put 3 coats of VHT Header paint on the Y pipe. My list is getting smaller I am only days from firing this thing up. It will have to wait till after my trip to Bristol Tenn. this weekend.

It doesn't look like it in the pics but the lowest part of the Y is a good 1/2 inch higher then the collector flanges.

                            • Its alive, don't mind the valve train noise in the video just getting a heat cycle into the motor so we can adjust everything. I got alot of tuning to do and learning this new EBL Flash is going to take some time. Baby steps.
