Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Ok sorry to have falling off the map with this but after the 5th or 6th start up I found this near the water neck on the intake.
So I called up FIRST Injection and they said that they had no problem with replacing it under warranty but had no replacement intake to send me. So after a long wait and taking the entire intake back off the motor to sending it back to them, I got this back a week and a half ago.
The intake was slapped back on this past weekend and because of time, I got no new pics. So in a nut shell I am almost back to ready to start it up again.... Pain in the ass but at least FIRST did the right thing and paid all shipping cost and was very up front that I got an intake from a batch which they knew had problems and was why they sued the foundry that screwed up the pours and why they were down for retooling in the first place.
So do the long runners mean this is going to have a ton of low end grunt?
Depending on the cam, that motor should be able to pull houses off their foundation Should be able to rev as well, best of both worlds.
If I remember right, TPIS runners are shorter than most TPI runners? TPI systems can really shine with the right combination of runner length, air flow, and intake port size. My setup has a calculated VE of 104% @ 4000 rpm with the big tube runner setup (EngineAnalyzer v3.4)
