Is anyone here running a custom cold or hot air intake for a TPI engine? I want to make one but I need some ideas! Thanks

first off, what part of the stock system are you keeping ?
'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

Lets first ask the question what are you trying to accomplish?

People who make hot air intakes are usually trying to gain a mile or two better per tank.
Cold air intakes usually more power.

Personally I would leave it alone, for a intake to look GOOD it will get expensive and for most people not worth the time and $ for the results it gives.

There is two reason why I want a different intake. One to get rid of the ugly washer and coolant tanks. I am going to switch over to 4th gen washer and coolant tanks. I want to make an intake that goes over to the battery area and into the fender. I guess you are right no hot intake just a cold intake! Thanks guys

For ease of compatability and parts, you could just get the firebird TPI intake. Otherwise fab your own up out of 3" mandrel bent aluminum or stainless.
