yea its ghetto, the way I did it was correct, it was wired correctly, fused for safety, and temp controlled. I can bet that 9 out 10 people would do it with a after market fan controller before they ran a wire to toggle switch. I ran and installed the fan controller correctly you wouldnt be able to see that it had one installed.

I also remember reading something in the "most ghetto rigged thing in your f body" thread and in it were people running hard wires and toggle switches.
so its ghetto, thats why I didnt do it and went with a fan controller and temp sensor.

Nothings wrong, now its fixed, Robin if your over hearting, yet your fan does spin, you fan motor may need to be replaced. Just because it spins, it may not be spinning at full capacity to move enough air and keep the engine cool. also check, fuses, relays, and all connections to make sure they are clean and connected properly. Text me if you still have trouble

Ok thanks! I'll have my guy check out the relay. He said the fuses are good and the connections are good. So we're gonna try the sensor then the fan.

Do that and report back, but does your fan even spin ? you should be able to hear it with the hood close and feel air coming out from under the car or from the cowl area when the fan is working

unhook the fan put two test leads to it and see it if works, you should be able to hear or feel the relay "clicking" however I feel you fan motor might be bad.

could be a bad thermostat not telling the fan to turn on.
