      Probably because you were in an Integra. I'd be amazed if a 305 could do 150+ without a shot or some form of F/I but the main thing holding them back is a bore size even smaller than that of a 283.

          my freind matts integra would hit 140 but it took awhile to get there. but in the video its hard to see but matt was at 140 and i pointed the camera up and tony was pulling on him. tony atleast went 140 i know that. being that he pulled around 10lengths on matt im just guessing he had gotten close to 150. theres no real way to see how fast he can go unless he gets an aftermarket speedo.

                Must've been the two painted stripes on the same side. Oh, and I'm Fbomb on Mive. I have a POS MK2 Jetta that's my winter beater.

                  build a trans that you can use with the new 350, get a nice converter built and then spray the piss out of the 305 for now

                      There's a lot of wisdom there...but I'd give the life expectancy on a near 20-year old 305 with spray maybe a month...

                        ah see thats why i paint them stripes so people know me. that golf was suposed to be my pos winter beater but now i gotta drive the slomaro through winter.

                              im with jeff. build a good trans and spray the piss out of it. I bet it will last longer than a month, ive seen 305s that wouldnt quit even after the oil was drained out
