  • Problem!!!!!!!

Alrighty I got a 1989 Camaro RS with the Throttle Body injection in it. Lately ive have some trouble. Friday i went to go chill with some people at Arbys for lunch. About to leave to go back to class. They all started up there cars and i (tried) to start mine... nothing.. wouldnt even crank, at first i thought it was my battery. charged that for a little bit and still nothing. Brought it home and tapped the starter to see if itll work... still nothing. Went to Autozone and got the starter and the starter solenoid. Chenged that... still nothing. Went to autozone again got a neutral safety switch, changed that.... still nothing.. the problem is that i can turn the key and the lights and everything works( the windows go up and everything so its not electricity) I can spark the starter and itll crank but wont turn over. Anyone got any ideas?

When the rear end's loose, the car's fast. Loose is fast, and on the edge you're out of control.

Is there a security light? Sounds kinda like oldschool vats to me. All it does is cut ground to your starter relay.

You have to locate your starter relay, find the wire that's supposed to go to ground, and connect it to a ground. Then you'll be fine. You don't have to buy a $542 program like I did.

Well got my car back the other day. Found out it was the pass key system. Its basicly the whole key/ignition assembly.

All you have to do is ground your starter relay.
