What holds the side skirts on by the back tire?

There is usually a lever youreach up between the wheel and the skirt and move to slide pins out that lock it in place to the wheel lip. But depending on the manufacture there were a couple differant design. That is the only one I have really seen, and IIRC it was on a hudson. Eric L

Sorry, I must not of put enough info. '89 camaro ground effects that go under the door(couldn't think of the name-ground effects-to early for me) got the ones behind the RS emblem and all the way back except for what ever holds them by the back tire.Comment

There's bolts on the bottom, and I think a few screws in the door jamb. It might have to slide up out of the back, but I can't remember completely.
5/32" strikes me as the bolt head size, but I could be wrong.

I still can't get this Damn thing off!! Is there anything that goes through them two little holes in that metal thing? I was beating it up and out with a 3lb sledge and no go.Comment

yes there are some underneath the rear speaker... you have to take that side interior panel off and then u can see them down in there

Yeah i was gunna tell ya there are some below the speaker inside the car. But if you do it on ur 84 z28, they just slide on, there is no stud going threw the car with a nut inside the car.Comment

Was doing it to the '89 RS. Got them off today,there was 1 nut on the inside,along with the rear end and gas tank, the gas has been in there so long it smells like paint thinner!!lolComment
