Well he told me he swapped out the 305 for a 350, but I don't believe him, he looks like one of those salesman who is a real dick, and a dick he is. Just trying to make an extra buck off a "stupid" kid like me. And yeah thanks again for posting those up, i'm gonna print those off tomorrow before i go up there along with all the other info i found on 86 camaros. I'm definitely going to bring a vin decoder, or call and have the dealership run it, so if it does have a 350, then he can't charge me more if it came stock with one. Besides the car has 147,000 miles with alot of problems. Don't you guys think 3000 is a little much? Needs all new interior, engine rebuild, new back suspension, body work(slot) and probably other stuff of that nature. But t-tops do not leak and doors do not sag. SCORE

$3K is overpriced. I know where there's a 3rd gen TA with 43K on it for $3500. I haven't stopped to look at it yet though. They were asking $7K for it a few weeks ago.

by this he means from factory 350 is impossible

does not mean there isnt one in it, just not from factory. Check ur block nums and u'll kno if hes lieing and then you've caught him, other wise u got a 350 on ur hands.

3K is over priced for that mileage. I'd say offer 2k and debate the price from there, just DO NOW let him kno how much u want it

to me if a car has a different engine put into it thats a con, you dont kno how his work was

yeah tell me about it, my car was 2,900 and it had 57,323 mi on it. Little dings in the hood and tink paint chips on the hood. Needed some stuff like an 02 sensor and hood struts, spoiler needs repainted but i guess that is pretty common with the third gens. I bet i'll be able to do an even trade for my truck, and buy another beater this summer. If i had the money, i would def. get another firebird, the interior is so much nicer (IMO). Maybe if its still for sale this summer you could let me know, so then i can have three f-bodies. And yeah RS, i'm gonna first ask him for a stragiht up trade for my truck, my trucks a v6, better gas mileage. S-10s run forever. And the interior is much nicer. Then if he says no I'll lay down everything on him like show pics of my car and tell him how much i got it for with how many miles. Then i'll give him prices on everything to make that car in as good of condition as mine. If he still says no i'll say trade for the truck and maybe a little cash, but not anything over 500. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow.
