Thanks guys, yea he is actually interested. Im going down Thursday to look and possibly finish the deal.

Yea, I do know more about my car and it does get better gas milage and whatnot, but Ive always wanted a Camaro and since I dont have to drive long distances for work anymore, I figure its a good time to get one with summer rolling in ^_^

Thats good news Ed! Just look in the "trouble" spots take your camera and take pictures if you dont finish the deal right then and there, but from everything I found out about that car I trade in a heartbeat. Just look over it well and get some information about that 350 swap! Good Luck to ya hope it works out I would love to see another thirdgen on this site!

Hey, quick question. Would I have any problems driving that camaro back to Michigan with open headers? He lives in Toledo so it's about a 2 hour drive.

You wont have any problems with the car...But you could possibly run into problems with a noise thing and with the cops. But if you have a bill of sale showing that you just bought the car and just transporting it home you should be ok. Either way IMO it is well worth the risk to get the camaro home!

So the car ended up being worse off than the guy said so I'm not driving her home. The search continues...
