  • Vacuum Lines

Is there a kit that I can buy to replace all my vacuum lines?

I probably have a vacuum leak everywhere (my mechanic said I do), and I would just much rather replace all the lines.

And if there's not a package, anyone have an idea what I would need?

Get a can of starting fluid, spray it over the motor while running, you'll find the leak.

      Will it bubble or something?

I mean, there's not that many vacuum hoses, so I guess it shouldn't be too hard.

no spray propane around the hoses and intake gaskets and the idle should change when you are near the leak

Yeah, I don't remember anything being dry-rotted when I pulled it off half a year ago - the one that is (rear, passenger side of the plenum - I think it goes to the booster), is zip-tied to the plenum.

but the thing with starting fluid is its a liquid and will puddle all over unless you can spray it light enough. i just think its easyer to use propane b/c its cleaner but thats just my $0.02

I don't think their's a kit but you can just buy the tubing and cut it to lengths. That's what I did for my 87 bird.

Sprayed all the lines down, and I don't think anything caused an RPM rise.
