Got the gas tank painted and the rearend.. SO I am now ready to start re-assembly..

Well I hope to have a ton done this weekend, hope to have a 3 day weekend, so if we do I will be slamming a ton of it back together.. Have to call about my motor mounts this morning and see if they were shipped out..

well did not get as much done as I hoped, but still got some done and am very happy with the progress I made..
I hope to get a few more little things done this week and then get the engine and tranny in this coming weekend

wow jess im sorry ive missed this thread all this time. car is looking great. ive been working on everyone elses cars lately i havent had time to work on mine. glad to see yours is comming along. you have done a hell of a lot of work to that car. youll definately be happy as hell when you get to finally pull it out of the garage with the motor running. itll make all that waiting and hard work worth it. are you still looking to convert to electric windows? only asking cause the car i am parting out has electric windows. youll just have to get the correct counsel to operate them. as well as the mirrors.

I have a set of doors from an 87 TA with the complete wiring harness from the same car, and these have power windows and seats, eventually they will be going on the car..
But thanx for asking, yeah I hope to roll her out on her own power in 2 weeks.. This weekend I will finish up all the brakes and set her on eth ground, then roll her outside for a bath and power wash the engine bay, then back inside and back up on stands for the motor and trans and final touches..

well nothing went as planned, had to pull sterring column out of my Buick.. Long story..
But did get the front sway bar installed, all the brakes bled, motor mounts out. I am hoping to get the new mounts in this week, install the shifter, set the motor and trans in, mock up the torque arm and get it ready to fab up a mount, then start assembling the nose..
But yeah I have not been sleeping well so I am REAL tired and have no motivation.

well not much to say, but motivation has been minimal since I HAD to sell my Buick..
I did do a few things today which made me feel better and I hope I can continue feeling well.
My brother and I have been redoing alot of the polebarn to make it alot more useable space, clean and organized, we installed old kitchen cabinets, shelves, and some bike hooks to get stuff off the floor.
The car is back on the ground rolling completely, looks almost completely level, even though I cut off a coil on the 87 TA springs it still sits pretty high, but I think looks good. ( its no Johnnys corvette stance for sure,lol) I did get the engine in the engine bay, headers on, torque arm in, picked up a V8 radiator, rest of all the GFX I needed and torque arm bushing.
I am doing some charity work that I hope helps me get motivated a little more, My brothers soon to be son-in-law blew his engine in his caprice so I had a extra 305 sitting on a stand that just needs assembled so we are taking his old on out and I am giving him this one for free.

getting there slowly.. I had hoped to have it driving by now, but it has DEFINITELY been a BAD year
