Gear is fine. Motor is shot which I think I caused when I pulled it apart. Cuse it worked before but didn't grab even though it looked to me like the gear was fine.

These go bad before the actual mechanism in the motor does. It's an $8 fix vs spending $$$ on a motor.

Motor don't even make noise. So it's dead. Probably fixable though, but I don't have the right tools to hold the little blocks back to slide the motor down around the copper wiring.

check electrical connections too, ive had problems on and off with my drivers side light being deader than a doornail, took it apart and the connectors were all corroded cleaned them and put it back together and it worked great.
