  • Help please

I cant figure out whats wrong with my headlights. They will be on for like 5 minutes and then go out and the come back on for a few seconds and back out. I checked the connections on the rear of the lights and they seem to be on tight. This would even happen when the car is sitting still and not running. Needless to say I cant drive at night.

Thanks in advance for the help.

So do they all come on and go out at the same time?

Stock replacement bulbs from Autozone. All other lights stay on including guage cluster.

The only thing that comes to mind is a short somewhere.

Check the fusebox just to make sure everything is seated as it should be.

Depending on the year, interior and exterior lights are on different lines.

            So, not necessarily.

Mine had a similar problem with the head lights. Problem was the plug was melted a tad bit so it wasn't getting a solid connection. So I would try wiggling the plug a little and see what happens.

Did you check the headlight ground up on the core support?

Yeah, I pretty much checked all the grounds. It's go to be something simple I'm missing.
