Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
A Bandit seat will just be a Deluxe (or Custom, w/e you want to call it) Interior seat. My Formula has them. So don't let him try to up the price b/c their Bandits.
Interesting link. I've always understood that the doors were interchangable, but hey, I could be wrong. The roof panel and quarter panel area I would assume would be similar as the rear glass changes are identical, but again, I've been wrong before. I have seen '77 T/A fenders on a '73 Camaro, so I know that can be done. Sounds like some more investigation is required . I love a good mystery.
I agree, don't let him jack you on the "special" bandit seats...they are the "custom" standard issue.

WHY THE F*CK IS THERE A GOAT ON A FERRARI?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Today the frame was put back on the car. It looks good, I wasn't able to get pictures but I will soon. The Energy Suspension body mount set I got seems really nice, it all goes in well. I was wondering if greasing the bushings was necessary or if it doesn't matter though.
I got the Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. I have a new pic as well.
That's all we got done today. We need to figure out how the LCAs can mount into the frame without using a spring compressor. We already tried lowering the car down a few times though, and it didn't work. Think anything is twisted? I hope everything goes fine from here on out and I don't have to replace this frame again or do a bunch of work like this again. Of course, my friend is tired of working on my car, which I am happy about because we are almost done with it and that means I will have my car soon so that I can do the rest of the work on it. Oh, and my friends from school said that I should get Hagerty insurance on my car, and I got a quote and it says I can get it for $400/year not including discounts.
I hope to work more on the car today, hopefully this will be done soon I'll try to get a video from starting the car when it's done to see what you guys think of it as far as the sound and all.
