Yep, A close friend of mine and I used to work on cars on the side for extra cash. We got quite good at it. I was asked by a few people why I/we didn't do it for a living. And the reason has always been cause it would ruin my hobby, and while I was working on cars during that time, it did turn me off from working on my own stuff except out of necessity.Originally posted by wezelesComment

I have a pic of my intake off my old LT1 with 130,000 mi on it, looked brand new, the guy was anal about oil changes every 3000! He was also anal about car washes too, so it kinda ruined the clear coat

It has under 120k on it. The bores aren't that bad, just the top end. Hot tanking it would prolly be the best for it. I'm gonna try cleaning it up some later today.
