Id go with 36# injectors. They are easy to come by, and will ensure you have enough injector, but are certainly far from too big.

I go these for my car, 36# at lt1 rail pressures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/272066909441...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Ford svo injectors would also be a good budget friendly option.

Thanks for the link! those look like a pretty solid and cost-effective option.

Do you know which SVO injectors would be the right ones? Since I work for Ford, I can get a discount on genuine Ford parts, so that would probably be worth looking into.

Well, I guess they dont have 36# ones, atleast not that I am seeing. I thought the green top ones were 42# at 4bar(ls1 rail pressure), but are actually at 3bar(lt1 rail pressure). The red top ford injectors ones would be 30# on an lt1 I think.

That's why I asked him if he was running gasoline - 42# injectors would be good for a cammed E85 car - that's way overkill for your build.

Personally, if I were you, I would do what I'm doing.
36#, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, walbro 255.
This probably won't work for you since my heads are shaved, flow better, and I have a bigger cam.
E85 would require an upgrade fuel pump.

I also have a potential lead on a set of refurbished 36# SVO Red Tops for $250. They're not refurbished yet, so I don't know for sure how long it will be until they'd be ready. So far, the ones pferris suggested look like the winners.
