Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Well,
I located the fuse under the hood than I got in to go get a new fuse cause I'd figure I'd start there.
The light was gone and I did not pull the fuse out.just took the lid off the fuse box to look at what it looks like.
What now

I would replace the relay for the AIR pump. All the AIR pump does it shoot air into the Cats to warm em up faster. So you don't have to worry.
Put a new relay in, check the electrical connections to it, and then have the codes erased.
DTC's have a few ways they will clear themselves. One is by a scanner, which Autozone is not allowed to do. Another is if the fault is no longer persistent after 40 cycles, this is more so for high or low sensor readings from what I've seen. The other, and I can't say for sure, is that the light likely went off because it passed the test (pump kicked on) and removed the DTC.
P0418 and P0418 are MIL on 2 type codes, meaning they can fail once without the light coming on. If the test fails again on the next start, then it's not happy.
Just go about driving the car normally then. If it comes on again, and it's the same thing, just check the relay and electrical connections. Also, don't start the car multiple times in a short amount of time either, or you can foul out the spark plugs and it will start to misfire. It happened to my grandfather's Corvette.. and they were not fun to replace.
