Last step would be an alignment

I'll be doing these on my TA this weekend too. Just try to screw the end on as close as possible to the same distance that the old one was.

Not sure if the search result link will work, but there's two videos on YouTube that may prove helpful. First one is on a 1995 Camaro, but should still be applicable.

      https://www.google.com/search?q=how+...sm=93&ie=UTF-8

Anymore if I ever want to know how to do something, I go straight to YouTube and search. 9 times out of 10 there's a video already on there, and I personally learn better watching someone else do it first.

i was more concerned with the best technique to loosen the rod end. its on there pretty good. i'm going at it Saturday. then I'll see if I need inners as well. I did find a good youtube video for that.

Loosen the jam nut first but turn it back against the tie rod so you don't loose the spot. Then the castle nut. Wack the side of the knuckle with a hammer where the stud goes thru. Should fall out

Pickle fork should work too since you don't care about the old one. Inners are really easy, I ended up buying the tool for that and have used it many times.

Piece of cake... pulled against jam nut with 10in adjustable wrench, then loosened castle nut flush to rod stud + hammered loose. Went with moog and very happy almost no deviation to alignment. When i get on comp. I'll thank everyone.

                Thanks all for your responses
