The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. rubber is fine for gasoline however ptfe is using e85. you can use ptfe as well for gas and it actually is better but more expensive and requires different fittings as well
true, it also has a higher pressure rating and its what I used for my trans lines as well, I went with teflon rubber for my fuel line, both are stainless braided. The PTFE is a bit smaller in diameter as well and works great for small areas.

I went with stainless even if it weighs more and harder to work with seemed like it would hold up better if something hot rubbed it or hit it.blew thru a couple rubber hoses on cooler before and either is only way to go just matter of preference.
Less bling = more money here...
Haha I already have black AN fittings, so I ordered the nylon, for the extra $20 I should get what looks better to me right?
Lol...yes and no. In this case, bling = blood and I have a low tolerance for pain. But you can over do it with too much SS braid. Moderation is key if you're after the bling factor.......yeah, cuz that's what I'm about
I have both under my hood, but doing all again, it would be nylon all day.

should be nice but you won't see much of lines anyway in fact i was in hurry to make mine and still have red/blue ends on and can't notice (depending where you put cooler) never thought stainless line was considered "bling" thought more of thats a way to plumb a engine (unless you use fake covering) the black would hide much better. i work on mine alot and using the natural (silver color) for ends is alot easier to wrench on.whatever you decide i would keep same thru build.Also are you using a fan with cooler? Put one on mine and really helps when sitting in traffic like woodward!
