I have been having problems with my clutch at higher rpm. From what i have read on tech, it is a common problem. SO its time to upgrade. I an planing to buy a monster level 2, as i have no plan to run nos or FI. Has anyone here ran a level 2 monster? They have a sale ending today for $125 off and i plan to take advantage of that. I also plan on getting the 18lbs flywheel and a remote bleeder.

Assuming the mods in your sig are current....dont over complicate things and stick with OEM. My vote would be for the LS7. Had one with my H/C build years ago....low 400@ the wheels.Originally posted by pferris View PostI have been having problems with my clutch at higher rpm. It doesnt like hot laps at the track, but a great clutch non the less.sigpic

Just want to throw another vote in for the LS7. Stock like feel, grabs great. I think it'll work well for a lightly modded vehicle.
My car is 100% a street car though and I am on OE sized 275/40 rubber - so, I will sidestep the clutch when rowing gears, but I am not doing 4k+ dumps off the line. For my usage, it's been great thus far. Have a couple thousand miles on it.

x2 on LS7 or even LS9 (if it's possible?) I think Kolin is running an LS9 clutch with his LS7 build. But I've heard nothing but great things about people running LS7 or LS9 clutches.- Brian Meissen

We also have a different pressure plate that holds 20% more power and retains factory pedal feel.
