  • Car now stalling occasionally at idle

In traffic car stalled on my way home. This time I didn't notice a oil pressure drop but it was VERY fast so I wasn't looking at the gauges. It started right back up everything appearing normal, gauges all normal, drove it home and it let idle in the garage for about 5 minutes. It had one hiccup dropped to around 500rpm almost stalled then got itself going again. So many problems that it could be I just don't even have the patience for it.
All fluids were full, gas tank had about 14 gallons in it.

Here's what I've already done to it in the past, I tried to highlight the relevant things that are generally related to common stalling (vacuum leaks, fuel, injectors, etc) There's stuff missing from the chart because I just put it together this month. so small things like spark plugs and wires aren't on there, but those are relatively new also.

How often does this do stall or hiccup? I would lean towards the fuel pump, but first I would go rent a pressure gauge, let it run and watch it should be 38-42 at idle. Were there any codes when it died?

Personally this stuff is hard to diagnose without being able to reproduce the problem. Personally, I'd start with examining the plug wires and making sure they're all seated fully and none of them are burned or anything. Then again ideally a scan tool would be best for this situation.

stock motor, no a/c or any accessories just the radio. I notice every morning i start the car the idle dips occasionally, it sometimes have a rough sound but it never stalled on me before. The revs sometimes float between 600-800 when they never used to move. This was the first time it actually stalled, we'll see how much worst it gets over the next few weeks. Fuel pump issues wouldn't shock me, but man that would be a pain and another expensive repair.
