Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Jeff - that was exactly my idea (even called Jonny but never got him down here) except the routing was going to be a little different with two pipes going to each side, cutting the foam bumper support to fit filters and there you have it. However with everything that I have now (oil tank, oil lines, oil cooler lines, a big fawking radiator, etc.) that idea is trashed. Also this project was going to be similar but also updated and look a bit better than that car did
Kevin - that is definitely for a vette and with the limited space, still something I can't do.
im planning to do this setup shortly. found a c5 air bridge for $30, picking up my buddys filter for $10, and grabbed a 4"-3" coupler for $15. $55 corvette replicated intake>90* intake and hot air intake setup with a cone fitler. anybody want my old setup?
If you look really closely in that picture, it looks like there's a black bracket right behind the corvette intake - maybe the intake is helping hold the radiator up? Although I do know that chrizar has an LS1 lid setup and he doesn't have anything supporting the radiator and it's actually staying firmly in place just wedged the way it was.
i just deleted the ac, mainly because my compressor was bad and i have t-tops but ill either cut a hole in the stock support or ill figure out another way to keep it straight. and i think chrizar might have cut his lid to hold the radiator in place, i know he had to trim it to fit under his hood. lets see what he has to say about it.

I cut my core support to set the filter down in it, and use the back of the lid to push the radiator back down. So far I've had zero problems running it like that, i do plan on getting a new hood and using the lower base to make it look pretty. But funtion wise it's just fine. I can supply pics if needed/wanted. I don't have a/c either.
