  • 4th Gen Air Intake Ideas

Well since this is one of the last things I need to figure out before my project is finished I would like to get other peoples ideas/suggestions for what to do. My current intake is just a hair too big (extremely sad ) so post up those suggestions or pics of what you guys have seen!

I do have another filter on order but that bend still may be too big.

Personally I want something that hasn't been done time and time again... as with my whole project... Plus I already have the radiator shroud and I'm just ready to start driving the damn thing.

didn't you just replicate this setup from a previous katech white camaro? Sometimes unique isn't a good thing, but if you want to be custom why not have Jonny make a CAI tube that runs down into the front grille area up to the TB, then you can polish it to a mirror shine and grab some cooler air with it.

^^There was a guy that just did something similar like that. He used dryer vent I believe, tucked it in grille area and routed under the lid set up.

thats called the sux2bu ram air setup and not what I would imagine Kolin to do on a build of this caliber, I had more of this in mind.

Agreed. I was agreeing with you BTW. I like the idea of it.

Yeah I was just going to say - something like a 'Vette intake would be kind of interesting. But I think if you want to use that radiator shroud you're going to have to do something more along the lines of what Jeff posted..... Unless you cut out where a regular lid would go.
