  • should i trade my z28 for this?

Its a 1994 Camaro z28 hardtop 6 speed 300 miles on a new clutch, magna flow catback, K&N gold air kit. Otherwise stock.

Has 181k miles, no rebuilds on anything from what I've gathered from the owner. Its a 2 owner car.

No rust. Body is in exelent shape. Says the paint is almost perfect but the hood has a few stone chips.

Says the service engine soon light is on due to needing an egr valve.

Have pics of oil pressure when cold, warm and hot.

If I trade him I keep my seats, door panels, wheels, throttle body, intake elbow and taillights.

Is this a good trade? He's coming out sat at 11 am.

Oh he also says it will still chirp 3rd strong. And can still bounce it off the rev on a launch without it breaking a sweat

My last z28 that was a 6 speed I bought with over 202k miles and I beat the hell out of that car. And never had a problem from it.

3 pics of temp are all at idle. Highest to lowest is cold, warm and hot.

What should I look/listen for? I pretty much know about high mileage lt1s but for some reason I have a few doubts

so are you trading your car and the parts listed or just the parts you listed for another car ??? Im a bit confused on what your actual trade is
'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

I'd personally make sure the check engine code is for the EGR first.

Alright. I'll take it to an autozone and have them scan it,..

But the only thing that kinda catches me up about trading is I finally have my car the way I want minus the 6 speed.

But like I said I keep my seats, panels, throttle body, intake elbow, tail lights. And my pillar pod gauges.

He says his car runs like it has 100k miles. Also. I guess I'm just going to have to see it and drive it then I'll know.

I'll tell you this I'm itching to bang gears again.

T56 swap and be done with it. You know why you have done to yours, it has half the miles. You know what yours does and doesn't need.

Yeah the t-56 is my only reason for wanting this car. Plus the body is spotless looking.

I'm really stuck here. I think its the fact that I haven't driven my z28 in a very long time. I mean I drove it around the block the other day and compared to the wife's blazer. God is this thing fast. I just miss smashing gears.

I agree with this, unless the body on yours is in sad shape.

                          re

I'm with mcalus on this, I'm keeping it. Just paid 40 bucks for a mint passenger door. Now I just need to put it on and
Wire it up. Anyone know what those wires I had to cut work inside the door?

                          I disconnected 3 pigtails

Looks like I may be gaining use of keyless entry now.

Looks like two pigtails are for keyless. And one is for the speaker

And the rest of the bundle is for all the power lock/window controlls.
