Here is my issue:
My car, a 96 LT1, has long tube pacesetters and an ory into a catback(im thinking this is an exhaust issue). When I accelerate the car sounds great; crisp and throaty, it really sounds awesome! The problem is when I decelerate, or just basically let off the gas to just slow down or maybe even shift, I hear this noise that sounds like A LOT of air coming from the engine bay. It's like a loud mixture of air/vibration noise at the same time. It's not a hiss by any means, more like a "vvvvvvvvv" sound lol. My headers have the locking bolts and I've checked them a couple times and they are tight. It may not be exhaust related at all, but that sure seems like the most likely cause. Any ideas??
The car idles great, runs great, pulls hard, starts good... just a noise deal. It's been doing it for a while, but I've had enough of it. The doesn't actually seem to be vibrating, just sounds like it.
