Anyone have a good write up on how to make your own true duals

I want to make my own true dual setup to go with the cam this winter.
Anyone have a good how to I can follow with a list of parts.

I am also not sure of the size to go with was thinking 3in dumped with bullet mufflers.

If you wanted tailpipes you would want to use a 1968-1972 Nova SS transverse muffler with two inlets and two outlets otherwise might be tight trying to position 2 mufflers under the car.

good luck, im researching doing my own also. i want to do my dual 3" cutouts at the end of my LTs an x pipe and some decent sounding mufflers out back. ill be watching this thread for more info

X-pipe for power. H-pipe for sound.

So the top setup would make better power, and cost less to make?

im not an exhaust pro by any means. but, the less turns/90 degree angles the better. x pipe seems like it would flow 10 times better then an H pipe. i wanna change my whole exhaust system from turbos back. i will be watching this as well to get some ideas.

H-pipes are easy to make... No need to get a kit for that IMO.

After doing a lot of reading online, I think the first setup with the bullets and X pipe would be the best for the money. More power and cheaper. With the bullets it should be easier to tuck it up.
