Finally got my intake in. But no gaskets so it is just set up for now. Worth the wait though its a nice piece.

Thanks guys. Does anybody know a good shop that can do ceramic coating. (chromed finish like on a header) I am using stock exhaust manifolds and they are not in bad shape or anything I would just rather them look nice under the hood.

Anybody know of a place that can do this for me?

Thanks Jeff. How do you feel about welding up a custom elbow instead of the restrictive edelbrock one? Make it out of aluminium sheet metal and TIG the whole thing real tits. I seen plenty of people do this it really doesnt seem out of my realm of my capabilities. My only worry is the O-ring groove for the throttle body might be a pain.

there are tons of them on the market just look around you can buy aluminum ones rather than a cast piece, making one is a cool idea but probably more of a pain than its worth IMO. Ask John Marcella to make out one lol.

It really doesnt look that bad to make once you get the flanges made. Just use the gasket as a templete to make them. I dont want to pay $300 for one though.

do the LSA heads not have steam vent ports on the back? if so what did you do with them, also what is that teal line coming from the intake back is that the vacuum line for the hvac?

I didn't see any steam ports I did notice though that where you would usually put the coolant crossover plugs in the back of the heads that there were plugged holes......the teal line is just my remote mounted MAP sensor just dangling until I tie it under the cowl. Lol
