I have modified my hood today and figured id pass the info on, as may or maynot know there is about a 1/2" gap between your hood and air box which lets warm air in and lessens the ram air effect. i sealed the gap between the two using a weather strip. the strip is a universal weather strip made by Metro- sponge super soft weather strip door weather strip. its about $30 and will do one car door, but you can get 2 or three hoods done with this roll so if ya can get a buddy to go in on it with ya it'll be cheaper.
i got it from auto zone and sucured it with weather strip adheasive i also removed those b.s. baffles but would not recomend doing so if you drive in the rain alot. it sealed it good enough i can feel the motor drawing in air through the hood at idle. heres a few pics

there ya go hope this helps someone lol
