So when I made a recent trip to the Milan dragway drag strip to WATCH some people run their machines, I decided to play a little on the way home. Anytime you leave a drag strip, you just have to rip on the way home.. at least i do anyway
So while "ripping" down a back road, I thought, "I wonder if i can hook on this lovely new asphalt"? Heated the tires for a second, and oh yes, I hooked! But I knew the screaching, grinding noise coming from the back seat area just wasn't normal. So I pulled over, looked under the car, and son of a B****! Rear LCA bracket tore right off the floor board. Only rusty spot under the entire freakin car and this is what happens. Now what!?! Seriously, how hard do you guys think this will be to put back in place and weld up? This car runs waaay to good to get rid of, and I want to keep her around for a while. But that whole section is wasted with rust. You're advice is greatly appreciated.
