It's illegal to have either of the roll-downs tinted, they usually don't mess with people that have them lightly tinted, but some cops will

It all depends on the cop. but i usaully have my windows down and T-Tops off. Go 5% all the way around. Looks much better and even get the windshield done. that way nothing can see in. I get all my stuff done by a guy down the street from matts work. Same price $175 for the back and 2 sides.

yeah I got a fix-it ticket, had two weeks or so to remove the tint and have it signed off by a Sterling Heights cop. Sucked ass. Removed the tint, went in to the police station, handed the guy the ticket, he just looked up and goes "Alright, did you remove the tint?" I nodded and he signed off and handed it back. Didn't even look at the car at all. I could've left it on and totally gotten away with it.

I understand the law from the cop side but doesn't necessarily agree with it. in most states, 35% and lighter tint in the front windows are legal. Stupid MI law...

i just got back from getting mine done its 125 for your hatch and 160 for all 3 windows and its a lifetime warrenty from ZEIBART i n bay city

my grandpa lives down here and has another house in flordia, and he got 5% all the way around on his black impala SS because he said in flordia its legal because of the hot days and the sun. But he never brings that up here since he would get hassled

Well i took a pic finally real quick before i headed out...i love the way it looks now with the tint! I used a new wax, too, and it seemed to make the car much darker. I really like it!

Scotts Glass in Port Huron will do the back window 5% for $79!!! well for a 3rd gen at least. Give him a call at (810)982-7405. He's the guy who put in my new windshield and will be doing my tint.
