Not trying to be a jerk, Patrick, just hate to see someone beat FBodies into the ground unnecessarily. We all are here for the same reason - we love Camaros and Firebirds - so to see someone beating it into the ground just to blow it up, well that's going to hit some peoples' soft spots.
Regardless, happy to hear you're getting it tuned.

apparently you must not know to many people who have build nice big blocks. Where going to be shooting for an 8 second 1/4 mile this year with our "little" Big Block, all motor I might add. When you want to go fast....there is no replacement for displacement!Originally posted by 94ss68c10 View PostA big block???¿¿¿ idk if its just me but i usually only hear noobs say " im gunna throw a big block in her", personally id rather have a nice beefy small block thats makes power....sigpic

O no biggie to me. I think it would be hard just to toss a big block in a 4th gen...even a 3rd gen for that matter.
A lot of front end work would be needed that's for sure. haha!!!sigpic

Completely agree. Especially now when you can get a 460+ ci engine that will fit just fine in a 4th genOriginally posted by 94ss68c10 View Postoh i quite know that big blocks can be monsters but just the way SOME people slang around the phrase "ima throw a big block in her" just comes off as very n00b to me... maybe im the only one that thinks that ..... lol .. .nvm ... .just disregard my comments lol. . .

Not to mention it kills the handling of the car....unless you are building a straight line car...a big block is not advisable in a 3rd or 4th gen...unless you build it from an aluminum block...lolOriginally posted by tenpin842 View PostO no biggie to me.
