Can anyone confirm whether the LS1 front springs/shocks are any different from the LT1 front springs/shocks?

not really.
remember- spring rate does very little to ride quality. the shocks to control the spring rate is the big change.
i used lt1 eibachs in my car for more rate. for your car and racing the lower the rate the better it will unload do to the stored energy from being compressed more at curb

well my thinking was that I could use the stock shocks/springs I have off an LS1 car and put them on my car to lower it a tad. Is this even plausible or is it just wishful thinkingOriginally posted by 1BADAIR View Postnot really.

HAHA!! i wondered if anyone noticed!! lol should have said something lol...but yea ive just got 1.5 drops in the front now and stock springs with heater hose mod in back (i might put the 1.8 drop springs back on in the back with the hose and the stock rubber isolator and a set of drag bags...idk how it would look tho. But yea those ws6 strut/springs are 4x4 status lol...but i put my 2in drops on my buddy's ws6 with some stock v6 springs out back...talk about major rake!! but then his trans died on him so its in pieces and i got my struts/springs back lolOriginally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postif that was the setup you had at the barns i can confirm this.... i noticed that immediately
