You could turn it on just for shows.

But I'd want to drive around with it on, so I see the dilemma. Multi-colored LEDs?

Driving around with it on is just like speeding. If a cop isn't around you aren't gonna get in trouble

Thanks !!! got to put on car today also have been wanting to do for while.You could use both red and white just wire two different switches to turn on which set you want(thought red lights might blend with red paint?)might try red cello or something on back to try red.Working on rear center to light up also (same design that I have on rear now) also good idea about running only for shows etc. because noticed lots of chips on old piece so imagine won't take long to f-up this one.

I've always loved that air intake style! is it gonna fit under the hood though??!!

Derek love that picture of your car!! Well it didn't fit at first, I had to cut up a $150 assembly that was for vette and used a 22* alum. elbow to get over radiator shroud and sits right behind hood opening.Will try to get more pics up. Also on other note front bird is hooked up to parking lights but going to install switch to turn on/off just in case!This year the car will be 10 years old and was trying to come up with something and all started last year when we got pillar bird.We really liked the polished stainless on the red and the black etching tamed it down (and love black on red) so at christmas we got a package deal on front bird,door emblems and rear PONTIAC filler all center filled and have to wait to install.Which will tie into the new "custom" stripes we are working on.

Well I don't get to go on computer much (still don't know how to quote) I only have 3-4 sites I visit (beside parts sites) and this is my #1 site to check on.I don't have facebook or stuff like that and can't even keep up with whats going on here.I wish I could be more up on things and have more posts (please don't think I'm stuck up)but try to put up what I can with time I have.Really appreciate all the input here because of nice ass cars on here and only thing better is the people!!So hoping your not thinking not him again but more like someone looking for input or having idea for someone. This is a rough draft and not to size but adding "chrome" to stripes and honeycomb to center.Well I know the work done is not for everyone (can't please everyone) hope you can't wait to see !! THANKS!!

Not to sure about that strip, if it's something that is going to stick up I don't think it'll look good IMO.

I'll have to see those stripes in person before I decide if I like them or not... But you always do great work, so betting it will look good when done!

Got stripes on changed look and picked up tons of time!!!! LOL !! seen stripe on this and tweaked lil to make new ones.The stripes will be a chrome vinyl decal that will have design printed on.will just be a pinstripe of chrome showing (like other emblems above) to tie all together.not sure how it will look myself until on but that happens when trying something different ,should be getting samples made up soon.Kyle had blast last year meeting up with you and Ryan last year and hope to get out more this year!! Thanks for input and really appreciate!!

Well been playing around with this and finally got done enough to put up a crappy video.Had painted center section before but had extra one so hacked up and bent piece of plexi and inserted into housing and painted now working on the lights before putting back together (much brighter on 12v instead of 9v batt but helps to work on) still have to wetsand and clear and stuff but finally getting somewhere on it.thinking of having lit w/parking lights maybe add two bulbs for eyes to light up when brakes applied? side note also got sample of stripe and making change center will be black to match other emblems and honeycomb looked liked circles or bubbles from distance.only way I could attach vid
