my defrost works just fine and I have no ac.

Fred- I modded my heater box so that it is flush with the firewall (looks just like joes), yet still has full heat. heat actually seems to work better than ever now that I did this mod. I have full control of what vents I want to open. Defrost works great, heat blows HOT. That plate is a piece of 1/8" thick aluminum powdercoated black (it is just dirty in the pic)

I have thought about it. BMR makes one but it has to be installed from inside the car, hence having to remove the dash.

Mine can be installed from the engine side, but to cut the HVAC out, the engine must be out of the car

Im doing a dash swap anyways so i can do it either way...i gotta pull the k-frame to swap it so i might just re-pull the motor (plus i need to fix motor problems now to =/)

Sweet if they are cheaper than the bmr one or just a way better design put me down for one...also are you thinking of making them with holes cut for the heater hoses?
