  • I guess I'll toss my opinion out there as well. . . I'm guilty of partaking in the "Piss-Water" beer drinking as well, in fact, it's about all I drink. Every once in a while I get some "craft beers" or micro-brews, but for the most part, I'm stupid when it comes to what beers fall into what categories. "India Pale Ale"? WTF does that mean? I don't really care to know, but apparently I like several beers that fit that classification.

That said, I will drink PBR, but it's not my "beer of choice". I like Land Shark, and I've grown fond of Blue Moon's Summer/Fall blends, but aside from that, to me at least, Beer is Beer, and if it's Beer, I'll drink it. haha

I had a recent conversation with the Brewmaster at Founders Brewery, home of some of the finest craft beers around, and I asked him, when he's not drinking craft beers, what he enjoys. He replied with "PBR. Its my go-to beer when I'm out playing darts or pool" PBR is complex, has notes that other simple beers don't have. It has the full-bodied feel of the other American-Style Lagers, but with a crisp side as well.

So, that "goat-piss" is actually pretty damn popular.
Sorry I've had a PBR you"ll never convince me its good beer.

My college buddies and I drank PLENTY of PBR. At the time, the shop right across the street carried 30s for $15, and 18 bottles for $12! (and thats including tax/dep)
